Primary care providers encounter a dizzying array of medications. We are responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest medications and managing complex medication regimens, an arena that is constantly evolving with new approvals, emerging safety concerns and new indications for medications. To help primary care providers confidently navigate the latest medication formularies, we have organized this CME course on Current Concepts in Medication Therapy. Using a case-based format, expert speakers will highlight innovations in medication therapies, review new indications for medications and discuss medication side effects or interactions. Individual presentations will be followed by panel discussions during which participants will be able to ask questions.

Joint Accreditation: In support of improving patient care, The University of Washington School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
