DS2660: Immune Related Adverse Events (irAE) Roundtable Series

This activity seeks to improve care for the patient suffering from side effects of immunotherapy treatment for cancer. The sessions will share important information about identifying and managing adverse side effects specific to this patient population, called immune-related adverse events (irAEs),including such varied conditions as pneumonitis, colitis, skin issues, rheumatologic toxicities, endocrinopathies, cardiac issues, and hepatitis. Each session will include an approximately 30-minutelecture, followed by approximately 15 minutes of cases and 15 minutes of discussion/Q & A. The format will be a live, online meeting (Zoom meeting) with easy availability to ask questions of the speaker(s).The series will include two sessions distributed throughout the fiscal year. The goal is to provide a shared learning forum among colleagues, discussing new developments and significant advances in managing adverse side effects in the post-immunotherapy patient. The intended audience is physicians and allied health professionals in clinical practice who are interested in learning about managing immune related adverse events, including oncologists/hematologists and oncology APPs and nurses, as well as other non-oncology-focused specialists, hospitalists, internists, and other providers.
