Overview

The 2nd University of Washington Obstetric Anesthesia Conference will be a joint venture with the Obstetric Department and the Anesthesiology Department. The conference will provide anesthesiologists, OB/GYNs, nurse anesthetists, residents, and fellows of both specialties with 1.5 days of CME-accredited learning. Presentations from faculty experts will be combined with hands-on workshops using state-of-the-art simulations.

The first day focuses on treatment bundles from an OB and Anesthesiologist perspective. Topics are presented as lectures, debates, and problem-based discussions. Each presentation will allow ample time for interaction with the audience.

The second day will access the new University of Washington’s School of Nursing state-of-the-art high fidelity simulation center. Workshops focusing on the three treatment bundles and team communication will take place in this impressive facility.
