Training: Peer Review - 5/13/2026

This 30-minute training focuses on the peer review requirements for Joint Accredited activities. Participants will learn what constitutes an adequate peer review, how to document it appropriately, expectations for reviewing content for balance, scientific accuracy, and independence, and how peer review supports compliance and quality improvement. The session includes examples of completed reviews and practical guidance tailored for both CE planners and faculty involved in developing, reviewing, and delivering educational content.

This training also includes a clear explanation of owners, employees, executives, and founders of ineligible companies, as defined by Joint Accreditation/ACCME standards. Participants will learn how these roles relate to conflicts of interest, why individuals in these positions may be disqualified from controlling and/or presenting CE content.

Peer Review training is offered every other week  on Wednesdays at 12:00 PM.

Registration is required through CloudCME.
