The topics are selected from suggestions from previous course attendees, areas with substantial change, and controversial subjects where medical opinions may differ. The purpose is to provide a clinical update for providers who care for these patients in an outpatient setting. The format is a series of short lectures followed by question-and-answer sessions.

Objectives
  1. Apply current evidence-based updates in reproductive and gynecologic healthcare to improve clinical decision-making and patient care.
  2. Integrate nutrition counseling strategies into preventive care to reduce cancer risk and support holistic patient outcomes.
  3. Enhance provider competence in delivering inclusive, gender-affirming gynecologic care and addressing health disparities across diverse populations.
  4. Assess the impact of evolving legislation and systemic barriers on access to reproductive healthcare and identify strategies for advocacy and equitable care.
  5. Demonstrate improved competence in diagnosing and managing abnormal uterine bleeding using both medical and surgical approaches.
  6. Identify practical strategies to overcome systemic barriers such as insurance limitations, time constraints, and access to specialty care in reproductive health settings.

Continuing Medical Education at the University of Washington is a self-sustaining unit and does not depend on or receive public monies in support of its educational efforts. Fees for this course are estimated to cover the costs of conducting this course. These costs include salaries, registration and credit recording, instructional materials, transcript of credit, record keeping, faculty planning, evaluation, food and beverage during the conference, alcohol during the reception, and printed materials. Continuing Medical Education will not be responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed.

IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION

Per UW CME policy, you are not considered registered for the course until full payment has been received. Unpaid orders do not "reserve" spots for conferences. If you have an unpaid order when registration rates increase, your order will automatically increase to the higher late registration rate.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

The Office of Continuing Medical Education must receive written notification of your cancellation by March 13, 2025. A $75 processing fee will be deducted from refund requests received by this date. No refunds will be issued following March 13, 2025.
