The Advances in Clinical Care: Confluence Health and UW Medicine Summit is an interprofessional continuing education conference designed for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, EMS clinicians, and other healthcare professionals. This one-day event provides evidence-based clinical updates from UW Medicine and regional experts while fostering collaboration among healthcare teams across Central Washington. Sessions will focus on the latest advances in rural cardiology, trauma, stroke care, and interfacility transfer, equipping participants with practical knowledge and strategies to improve patient outcomes in rural and critical access communities.

1. Apply current evidence-based strategies for the recognition, stabilization, and management of cardiac emergencies across prehospital, transport, and hospital care settings.
2. Evaluate best practices in the assessment, triage, and time-sensitive treatment of acute stroke to improve interdisciplinary coordination and patient outcomes.
3. Integrate contemporary trauma care principles and team-based communication strategies into the management of critically injured patients across the continuum of care.

UW Medicine Airlift Northwest and Confluence Health reserves the right to cancel this course prior to the course date when a minimum enrollment is not met or for other reasons that prevent the University from holding the course. Each registrant will be notified by email notification and offered a full refund or virtual registration. The University of Washington is not responsible for any other costs incurred. 

Fees for this course are estimated to cover the costs of conducting this course. These costs include salaries, registration and credit recording, instructional materials, transcript of credit, record keeping, faculty planning, and evaluation. UW Medicine will not be responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed.

Per UW IPCE policy, you are not considered to be registered for the course until full payment has been received. Unpaid orders do not "reserve" spots.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

The Office of Interprofessional Continuing Education must receive written notification of your cancellation by Friday, September 11. A $25-$50 processing fee will be deducted from refund requests received by this date. No refunds will be issued following September 11, 2026.
