This in-person CE course provides a practical review of core topics and highlights state-of-the-art approaches to diagnosis and treatment in Critical Care (day 1), Pulmonary Medicine (Day 2), and Sleep Medicine (day 3). Through expert-led lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on learning sessions, participants will strengthen their understanding of current evidence-based practices that can be applied immediately to patient care.

Topics include refractory shock, neuroprognostication after cardiac arrest, toxicology, advanced asthma care, rare lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, central sleep apnea, sleep apnea management beyond CPAP, and much more. Participants will gain valuable insights from multidisciplinary experts and develop greater confidence in managing pulmonary diseases, critical illness, and sleep disorders.

1. Develop an algorithm for antimicrobial management of immunocompromised individuals in the intensive care unit.
2. Identify patients with refractory shock and optimize management using evidence-based strategies.
3. Develop an evidence-based approach to the treatment of pulmonary hypertension treatment, incorporating recently approved and emerging therapies.
4. Apply the latest guidelines for classification and treatment of pulmonary emboli to clinical practice.
5. Evaluate treatment approaches for sleep apnea beyond positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy.
6. Apply the latest evidence on use of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonists in obstructive sleep apnea to clinical practice.
7. Integrate the roles and expertise of interprofessional team members into management of complex pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine cases

 The Office of Interprofessional Continuing Education must receive written notification of your cancellation by July 6, 2027. A $75 processing fee will be deducted from refund requests received by this date. No refunds will be issued following July 6, 2027. The Office of Interprofessional Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel this course twenty (20) days prior to the course date when a minimum enrollment is not met or for other reasons that prevent the University from holding the course.
