OT2703: UW CLIME Clinical Teaching Program

The Certificate Program is designed to help teachers maximize learning in the clinical environment. Faculty who teach students, residents, or fellows alongside providing clinical care will benefit from this program.Faculty who teach clinical skills outside of their own clinical practice will also benefit. Certificate requirements include attendance of six live, online sessions and completion of six online modules with additional independent learning activities. The addressed areas include optimizing the learning climate, fostering understanding and retention, teaching efficiently, teaching in the presence of patients , giving constructive and reinforcing feedback, and accurately assessing learners. The live sessions include lecture and small group sessions. The modules include additional readings, short answer questions, multiple choice questions, and other activities to reinforce the teaching points
