Won’t Go Back Initiative: Building Access to Abortion in Primary Care is a University of Washington program to mentor and support primary care clinicians and staff to implement or grow capacity to provide abortion care within primary care for places where abortion is legal, and to create regional referral networks and bolster primary care capacity to care for patient pre and post abortion services in places where abortion is restricted.

The Project ECHO will provide:

• Key updates on evidence based recommendations for provision of medication abortion and management of early pregnancy and contraceptive care
• Collaborative learning with didactic and case presentations at each session
• Free CME credits for up to 40 participants will be awarded at the end of the series in .25-credit increments. Priority given to those who attend the full one-hour session

1. Describe reproductive justice principles and apply them to the provision of unbiased, patient centered sexual and reproductive health care
2. Recognize and manage common first trimester pregnancy complications, early pregnancy loss, and pregnancy of unknown location
3. Understand various evidence based options for medication abortion clinical provision and initial steps necessary to implement medication abortion within a primary care practice

Accreditation with Commendation: The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
