Cardiovascular medicine subspecialists generally seek to concentrate their ongoing education to updates within their own subspecialty. Patients with cardiac disease may "overlap" among cardiac subspecialties, making it useful for all cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and cardiac anesthesiologists to participate in broad-based cardiovascular medicine update- such as those recent advances, thereby helping to bridge the gaps in knowledge between the various cardiovascular subspecialties.

Objectives
  1. Review and interpret recent research findings relevant to cardiovascular specialists.
  2. Analyze and discuss contemporary clinical topics pertinent to cardiovascular specialties.
  3. Synthesize new data and advances in cardiology, cardiac surgery, and cardiac anesthesia to inform evidence-based treatment decisions.
