Overview
Dermatology Grand Rounds provides a forum for the discussion and presentation of clinical practice recommendations, emerging research, and collaboration with prominent experts in dermatology and related fields. This is an ongoing program to update and educate Division faculty, residents, rotating medical students, and community Dermatologists by: 1. In-depth presentations on a topic in clinical or investigative dermatology 2. Patient presentations/discussion which serve both an educational function through discussion of interesting or problematic cases, and to facilitate exchange of ideas regarding patient care. Dermatology Grand Rounds meets the ACGME-required components to resident training of faculty-trainee sessions in small groups and participation of teaching faculty in clinical discussions in a manner that promotes a spirit of inquiry and scholarship.

Objectives
  1. Discuss ongoing issues in diagnosis and treatment of dermatologic disorders
  2. Discuss current pathophysiology and therapy of dermatologic disorders
  3. Provide appropriate clinical differential diagnoses for dermatologic disorders

Accreditation
Accreditation with Commendation: The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation: The University of Washington School of Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 43.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
