Overview

This is the 52nd year that the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine is offering information from a variety of disciplines including family medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, dermatology, OB GYN, neurology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, and many other disciplines. The material presented will allow participants to acquire new information as well as review information important to building and maintaining skills valuable for the primary care provider. Review of evidence-based guidelines from recent studies and professional organizations as well as opportunities for hands on learning.

We are also excited to offer a one-day mini-course (Friday, September 13) focused on Infectious Diseases Updates for the busy Family Medicine & Primary Care provider: Immunization Update, Travel Medicine Primer, Antibiotic MythBusters, Infections in a Planet on Fire, Urine Trouble: A Path Forward with UTI, TB or Not TB?, and STI Updates.

This course is designed for family physicians, and other primary care providers including internists, pediatricians, osteopathic physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and others interested in primary care.

52nd Annual Advances in Family Medicine: Monday through Thursday -- IN-PERSON REGISTRATION CAPACITY HAS BEEN REACHED!!! THE WAIT-LIST IS NOW FULL!  Virtual Registration is still open and available. The breakout sessions have reached capacity and a wait-list has been started for them as well.

EXTENDED ATTENDANCE OPTIONS
Learners can participate in the live offering between September 9-13, 2024, and claim credit for participation. Credit will also be available through December 31, 2024, for watching the recorded content for those sessions the learner was unable to participate in live. A competency measurement will be required for watching recorded content for credit. Please note, you may not claim credit twice for participating in the live webinar and then subsequently watching the recording. Learners must register for the virtual offering in order to receive access to the recorded content and material.
