This course is designed for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, surgeons, Gl transplant hepatology nurses, and other health care providers who treat patients with digestive diseases; and who are interested in keeping abreast of the latest advances in research and state of the art clinical practices in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. A distinguished and experienced UW faculty panel will share this knowledge through discussion of selected and relevant research findings with topics including the diagnosis and treatment of Gl and liver diseases, evidence-based research affecting clinical practice, and new developments in technology and procedural innovations. In addition to our own experienced UW Faculty, we have two national thought leaders visiting who will provide their perspective on Cirrhosis and Irritable Bowel Disease.
