Overview

Onsite Registration will be accepted beginning at 7:15am, Saturday, March 16th.

The 3rd University of Washington Obstetric Anesthesia Conference will be another joint venture with the Obstetrics Department, the Anesthesiology Department, and the UW Nursing Center for Simulation. The conference will provide all L&D floor providers including anesthesiologists, OB/GYNs, nurse anesthetists, residents, and fellows with 1.5 days of CME accredited learning. Presentations from faculty experts will be combined with hands-on workshops using state of the art simulations.

The first day explores a variety of important themes about outcomes of labor and delivery patients via lectures, debates, and problem based discussions. Each presentation will allow ample time for interaction with the audience.

The second day will access the new University of Washington’s School of Nursing state of the art high fidelity simulation center. This center (a leader in the use of simulation technology to improve patient care) will be available for small group workshops as well as teaching via live models.
