Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Rapidly determine the appropriate imaging studies to perform.
  2. Identify less common clinical conditions that present in the emergency setting.
  3. Update imaging protocols to optimize diagnostic accuracy while minimizing radiation.
  4. Accurately interpret emergency imaging studies, and recognize when additional imaging is indicated.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The Office of Continuing Medical Education must receive written notification of your cancellation by August 5, 2016. A $75.00 processing fee will be deducted from refund requests received by this date. No refunds will be issued after August 5, 2016. The Office of Continuing Medical Education reserves the right to cancel this course twenty (20) days prior to the course date if a minimum enrollment is not met or for other reasons that prevent the University from holding the course. Each registrant will be notified of a cancellation by telephone followed by written notification and a full refund. WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Radiologists (residents, fellows and practicing radiologists) and imaging technologists. Other practitioners, such as physician assistants, nurse practitioners and MDs working in emergency departments, may also find the imaging approach and interpretation to be useful.

CONFERENCE SYLLABUS IS GOING GREEN
Syllabus materials will be available for download at uwcme.org (for conference registrants only). Materials will be available from August 8 - September 30, 2016, for registrants to print and/or download. A booklet with the conference agenda and pages for note-taking will be provided at the conference.
