The UW Headache Expertise Series was created by Dr. Natalia Murinova and is a collaborative effort between UW Headache Medicine and UW Primary Care. This course enhances clinical skills for all medical providers who treat patients with headache disorders. This program teaches critical diagnostic skills and cutting-edge treatment strategies, aiming to improve the quality of headache management for individuals with headache. Course participants will gain new tools and an understanding of a multi-modal treatment approach. They will learn when to proceed with further headache workup, such as advanced neuroimaging, and when to refer a patient to Urgent Care, the Emergency Room, or the Headache Clinic.

This course enhances clinical skills for all who treat those with headache disorders, teaching critical diagnostic skills and cutting-edge treatment strategies, aiming to improve the quality of headache management for patients.
