Mom’s Access Project ECHO (MAP ECHO): Perinatal Substance Use & Mental Health Case Conference Series is a free CME accredited program for prenatal, substance use, and mental health providers in Washington State who want to improve the well-being and outcomes for their pregnant and postpartum patients. Facilitated by a multidisciplinary team including UW Medicine perinatal and addiction psychiatrists, obstetric and primary care clinicians, advanced registered nurse practitioners, and social workers, the program aims to increase frontline provider capacity to address common mental disorders in pregnancy and postpartum. Program format is a brief didactic followed by an in-depth case presentation and discussion.

Moms’ Access Project ECHO (MAP ECHO): Perinatal Mental Health & Substance Use Case Conference Series is a 10-session CME-accredited program for providers in Washington State who want to care for their perinatal patients’ substance use and mental health.

 The series is facilitated by a multidisciplinary team including UW Medicine perinatal psychiatrists, obstetrician gynecologists, maternal fetal medicine experts, advanced registered nurse practitioners, therapists and social workers. The program format is a brief didactic followed by an in-depth case presentation presented by a community provider and discussion.

Please register here for MAP ECHO’s 2026-2027 season. This upcoming series is for WA state clinicians who care for pregnant/postpartum patients. Monthly virtual case conference sessions are held on Wednesdays starting in September 2026 through June 2027 from 12PM-1PM Pacific.

In support of improving patient care, the University of Washington School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
