Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Analyze the changing landscape of sudden death with new heart failure therapies
  2. Evaluate the current evidence for using wearable defibrillators
  3. Update providers on the latest evidence and best practices in resuscitation
  4. Assess the tools and limitations of sudden death prediction

Beginning January 18, 2025, the registration rate will increase by $25.

Each registrant will be notified by email and offered a full refund or virtual registration. The University of Washington is not responsible for any other costs incurred. Continuing Medical Education at the University of Washington is a self-sustaining unit and does not depend on or receive public monies in support of its educational efforts. Fees for this course are estimated to cover the costs of conducting this course. These costs include salaries, registration and credit recording, instructional materials, transcript of credit, record keeping, faculty planning, evaluation, food and beverage during the conference, alcohol during the reception, and printed materials. Per UW CME policy, you are not considered registered for the course until full payment has been received. Unpaid orders do not "reserve" spots for conferences. If you have an unpaid order when registration rates increase, your order will automatically increase to the higher late registration rate.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

The Office of Continuing Medical Education must receive written notification of your cancellation by January 17, 2025. A $75 processing fee will be deducted from refund requests received by this date. No refunds will be issued following January 17, 2025.
