Grady Paden, MD FAAHPM FACP

Grady Paden is a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice & Palliative Medicine and the American College of Physicians, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine.  As an attending physician in Palliative Care and Medicine at VA Puget Sound he provides palliative care consultation for patients and families, as well as Internal Medicine and Geriatrics care to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.  As an educator he provides palliative care and Internal Medicine education for trainees from all disciplines and levels.   As a VitalTalk senior faculty member he teaches serious illness communication skills to clinicians in health care institutions across the US.  Other professional interests include medical ethics.  He enjoys anything outdoors, including skiing and swimming, and anything Alaska.
