Heather Kroll, MD                                          Faculty Biography

Dr. Kroll received her BA in Mathematics from UC Berkeley, an MA in Physical Therapy from Stanford University and her MD from the University of Washington.  She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Washington in 1998.  She has worked as a physiatrist since then, first in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at UW, primarily serving as an attending physician in the Pain Clinic.  She then worked in the PM&R department at Virginia Mason Medical Center.  Since 2005 she has been the medical director at the Rehabilitation Institute of Washington.  This is a multidisciplinary clinic that provides care for people with chronic pain and people with traumatic brain injury. She works with a team of professionals including psychologists, neuropsychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists and vocational counselors.
