Kevin N Alschuler, PhD

Kevin Alschuler, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology in the University of Washington School of Medicine.  He is an attending Rehabilitation Psychologist in the UW Medicine Multiple Sclerosis Center, where he provides care focused on coping with life with a chronic medical condition and self-management of the associated physical symptoms.  Dr. Alschuler also leads the multiple sclerosis rehabilitation research program, which focuses primarily on improving our understanding of the experience of life with MS and the development of novel interventions for symptom self-management.  In addition to his work in multiple sclerosis, Dr. Alschuler is a consulting psychologist to multiple local sports teams and conducts research on sport performance and sports injury.
