Suzanne Rapp, MD

Dr. Rapp is a UW clinical professor of anesthesiology and pain medicine. Her current practice relates to the management of chronic, non-cancer pain at the Center for Pain Relief. 

Dr. Rapp’s current interests center around comprehensive pain management with a special interest in myofascial pain and small needle treatments (intramuscular stimulation). 

She is a Seattle native, and has received all of her medical training at the University of Washington including medical school, surgical internship, anesthesiology residency and pain fellowship training. 

Dr. Rapp has been a board certified pain specialist for almost three decades, and is a member of the American Pain Society. She speaks nationally on various topics on pain management. As part of her interest in furthering community education, she has chaired the annual continuing medical education course for primary care providers at the University of Washington for eight years.
