Dr. Shaimaa Fadl serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology within the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia. She is an active member in both cardiothoracic and emergency radiology sections. In 2019, Dr. Fadl successfully completed a four-year radiology alternative pathway program at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, earning her American Board Certification in Radiology.
Dr. Fadl has multiple publications in cardiothoracic and emergency radiology literature. Her dedication to education has been recognized through awards such as the 2020 RSNA Honored Educator Award and the 2023 Anthony V Proto Faculty Research Mentoring Award. Actively engaged in professional communities, Dr. Fadl is a member of several radiology societies, including RSNA, NASCI, SCMR, ASER, and STR.
