Dr. Goldberger received his undergraduate degree in English and American Literature from Brown University, and his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. He completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington, and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan, along with a health services research fellowship as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar. He spent 6 years on faculty at the University of Washington before joining the University of Wisconsin Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in 2018. He serves on several national research and guideline committees through the ACC, AHA, and the Heart Rhythm Society. He serves as Program Director for the Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship, and an Associate Program Director for the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship.
