Aaron Rutman, MD

Dr. Rutman is a radiologist at Kaiser Permanente as well as a Clinical Instructor in the Neuroradiology section of the Department of Radiology at the University of Washington. He practices Neuroradiology and teaches Neuroanatomy at the University of Washington School of Medicine.


He earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of California, Berkeley and his MD at UC San Diego. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Washington. His has conducted research in several advanced MRI techniques including high-resolution vessel wall imaging, diffusion tensor imaging of the spinal cord, and peripheral neurography. His current interests are in vascular and functional neuroimaging, as well as clinical education.
