Rebecca Kruse-Jarres completed medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA where she also received a Master’s in Public Health and Tropical Medicine in 1999.  Following her residency and fellowship, she became faculty in the Department of Medicine at Tulane.  Dr. Kruse-Jarres served as the Associate Director of the Louisiana Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders until July 2014 when she became Director of the Washington Center for Bleeding Disorders Bloodworks Northwest. She holds faculty appointments in both Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Washington.

Besides her regular clinical interaction with both pediatric and adult patients with bleeding disorders she is nationally and internationally known for her work with inhibitors in acquired and congenital hemophilia and has been actively involved with several national and international clinical trials studying new treatments for this patient population.
