Scott D. Steenburg, MD is an Assistant Professor of Radiology, Section Chief of Emergency Radiology, and Director of Quality and Safety at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN.  Dr. Steenburg completed medical school at Indiana University in 2003, and completed transitional internship and diagnostic radiology residency in 2008 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.  He did his fellowship in Trauma and Critical Care Radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine / R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD.  He remained on faculty at the University of Maryland until 2011 when he joined the faculty at Indiana University.  He serves on multiple committees in several professional societies, including the ASER, RSNA and ARRS, and routinely speaks at the ASER and RSNA annual meetings on topics related to trauma imaging and emergency radiology practice.
