Bio:

David Morgenroth, MD is a physician, a scientist, and an educator. He is an Investigator in the VA RR&D Center for Limb Loss Prevention and Prosthetic Engineering, the Associate Director of the VA Puget Sound Amputee Rehabilitation Fellowship, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington.

His research as well as clinical interests focus on amputee rehabilitation, prosthetics, gait biomechanics, and preventing and treating secondary disabling musculoskeletal conditions such as knee osteoarthritis. His research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. He has been invited to present his research findings nationally and internationally and has received several national awards including the AAP Young Academician Award.
